Cause of the issue
When you use the SAP Business One Client, the following message appears in version 10.0 SP2411 or higher:
“System Message
There is a problem with the server’s security certificate. The security certicate is not from
a trusted certifying authority. SAP Business One is unable to connect to the server.”

Root cause
- During the installation of the SAP Business One DI API, you checked the Enable Certificate Validation option on the SLD configuration screen to point to the SAP Business One server.
- You installed SAP by running Setup.exe from the shared folder b1_shf. In the SQL version, the SLD configuration step is skipped, which caused Enable Certificate Validation to be selected unintentionally.
Fix at the source
- On the SLD configuration screen during the SAP Business One DI API installation, uncheck Enable Certificate Validation before clicking Next to proceed.
- For the SQL version, prepare a separate installation set outside b1_shf so the SLD configuration step runs normally.

However, if the installation has already been completed, fix it as follows:
Create or edit registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAP Manage\SAP Business One\ValidateSSLCertificate with DWORD value “0”
